Bucket List: Country Music 1/2 Marathon While Raising Money for Charity!

And so it begins… It is snowing here in Nashville and today is my first day of training for the upcoming Country Music Marathon and 1/2 Marathon to be held April 30, 2011.   For years, entering the 1/2 Marathon has been on my Bucket List, so why not check it off the list this year!  I am not a runner but have been an active tennis player since I was 12 years old and continue to play 3-4 times a week.  Surely, this 51 year old man with knee replacement can get my act together and build myself up within the next 3 months to run 13 miles.

I have joined a group of runners called Team Rio in efforts to accomplish my goal.  Team Rio is very important to me because we are running and walking to give back to the communities we serve by raising money for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee.  You can find information about this worthy organization along with other charities that I support on my website page of  http://www.bargers-solutions.com/Charities.html .

Please join me in my efforts to raise money for the Big Brother Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee by donating at Team Rio Donation Page
